How to use Bakhoor

Bakhoor, originally burnt using charcoal. But nowadays there are few different ways you can use Bakhoor using Electric Burner Or by using Smokeless Burner from our website.

TRADITIONAL METHOD

For Traditional way to burn bakhoor you would need incense burner also know as Mabkhara, Charcoal, Lighter or Matchbox, and Bakhoor and follow guide bellow:

1. Put Burner on Firesafe Surface.

2. Light Charcoal using lighter or match ( Use tongs to hold charcoal piece )

3. Place Charcoal in Burner. ( Use tongs for this )

4. Add some Bakhoor piece on hot charcoal, avoid putting too much as will produce heavy smoke.

5. Enjoy! The fragrance.

SAFETY: Always be careful while handling fire to burn charcoal. Once used wait for charcoal to completely cool down before disposing it. Charcoal stays hot for very long time.

ELECTRIC BURNER

For using Electric Burner Follow guide bellow

1. Place Electric Burner On Safe Surface and plug it in. If you using rechargeable/portable burner no need to plug in.

2. Place small piece of Bakhoor on Electric Plate and switch on Burner.

3. Once plate it hot Bakhoor will start burning. ( Note: some burner including portable burner have auto cut off time. It will automatically shuts down after some minutes.)

SMOKLESS BURNER

For using our Smokeless Burner follow guide below

1. Place Burner on safe surface , place the provided tea light candle in buner and light it up.

2. Place metal tray on top.

3. Place piece of Bakhoor on metal plate. And enjoy the fragrance.

SAFTEY: Always be careful while using fire. Once used, blow the candle off. ( If needed use tissue to hold and lift the metal plate to blow off candle ). Wait for metal plate to cool down and dispose the burnt Bakhoor.

OUD STICKS BY SURRATI

Light the tip with a flame for about 10 seconds until it glows, then gently blow it out so it begins to smoulder. Place the unlit end into the glass tray provided in the box to catch the falling ash. Set the tray with the burning oud stick in a room with good gentle airflow and allow the scent to naturally fill the room for best results.
